Phoenix Raceway and Hobbies is a hobby racer's dream.
The store hosts the longest commercial Carrera slot car track, a 185' track which can host either 1/32 or 1/24 ready-to-run cars. There are many classes which run on its twists and turns every week, and more are being added as interest grows. Cars from many manufacturers run around its curves, from Scalextric to Slot.it, NINCO, Spirit, Revell/Monogram, FLY, BRM, and, of course, Carrera.
In the back half of the store is a fast 155' hillclimb slot car track for racing 1/24 scale slot cars. The track is fast in some areas, tight in others, and a blast to drive. The track hosts NASCAR, GT1, GTP, and Group 12 races, with other classes being run from time to time.
There are also plenty of cars and parts for both styles of racing in stock, and if you don't see something, you can ask the staff to special order it.
